Overview
Columbia/NewYork-Presbyterian Advanced Imaging (CNYPAI) is a collaboration that unites the academic excellence of ColumbiaDoctors with the clinical resources of NewYork-Presbyterian. CNYPAI delivers advanced outpatient Radiology and Imaging services, including MRI and PET/CT, supported by cutting-edge technology and respected experts in the field. The mission is to detect and treat conditions, advance population health through research, and ensure high-quality, compassionate patient care.
Position
Certified MRI Technologist - Full Time (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, 7:00am–8:00pm). Location: Columbia (CNYPAI) – 710 W 168th Street, New York, NY 10032.
Schedule
Schedule: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Saturdays, 7:00am–8:00pm. During training, hires will be expected to work Monday–Friday, five days per week, on 8-hour shifts that rotate between 7:00am and 6:00pm.
Union
Requires registration with the 1199 Job Security Fund.
Responsibilities

Required Criteria
High school Diploma or GED
Graduate of an accredited Radiography program
New York State Licensed X-Ray Technologist by the Department of Health
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging. Maintains continuing education credits per ARRT requirements.
New York State license to inject contrast
Proficient in EMR, RIS, HIS, PACS, and modality-specific software
One year experience in Diagnostic Imaging
