
MUSIC, RECREATION OR ART THERAPIST- PER DIEM
Hampton Behavioral Health Center, Mount Holly, NJ, United States
Responsibilities
Provides direct patient care on assigned units, including Creative Therapy group sessions and doctor-ordered individual assessments. Completes Creative Therapy documentation including assessments, group summaries, and billing within time constraints. Serves as a member of the treatment team. Understands and utilizes principles of growth/development for adolescent patients and the age-specific needs of geriatric patients.
Qualifications
Music Therapist: A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited school and Board Certified Music Therapist
Recreation Therapist: A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited school and Board Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist
Art Therapist: A Master’s Degree from an accredited school and Registered Art Therapist
Weekend Required
Strong communication and documentation skills
Inpatient psychiatric experience and ability to work with large groups preferred
