ROLE DESCRIPTION
This is a contract role for Mental Health Specialists, located in the North, South, and West parts of Chicago, IL. The Mental Health Specialist will provide direct mental health care and support to clients through case management OR outpatient therapy services, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, client-focused care.
Rates:
Caseworker
(case management services): $18-22 per hour, commensurate of education and experience, per Medicaid credential level.
Outpatient Therapist : $40 or 46 per hour, commensurate of clinical license status, per Medicaid credentials (unlicensed therapists/counselors can still apply!).
QUALIFICATIONS
Expertise in Mental Health Care and Mental Health
Foundation in Psychology and the principles of mental well-being
Experience in Crisis Intervention and Case Management
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
High School diploma or GED at minimum and experience in a related mental health field
License or certification in mental health or related field is preferred
Ability to work effectively in an on-site setting with diverse populations
