Overview

Promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the imaging department.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

Supervise daily operations of diagnostic imaging services, ensuring efficient workflow and quality outcomes.

Coordinate with healthcare providers to meet patient imaging needs effectively.

Develop and enforce policies and procedures to maintain compliance and safety standards.

Train and evaluate imaging staff, addressing performance and development needs.

Manage inventory and maintenance of imaging equipment to ensure operational readiness.

Analyze departmental performance metrics and implement improvements as needed.

Facilitate communication between departments to enhance service delivery.

Participate in budget planning and resource allocation for imaging services.

Job Requirements

Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.

Registered Technologist (RT) by ARRT, CNMT by NMTCB, or RDMS by ARDMS.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in diagnostic imaging; 4 years preferred.

BLS certification from AHA or ARC, valid for at least 60 days post-hire.

Strong knowledge of imaging equipment maintenance and operational protocols.

Proficiency in regulatory compliance and safety standards for imaging services.

Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage teams effectively.

Ability to analyze performance metrics and implement service improvements.
