Overview
The Asst-Lab 2 is responsible for the accurate and timely receiving, processing, and labeling of laboratory specimens, and the appropriate handling and/or disbursement of laboratory data and patient results. Supports personnel work with caregivers, vendors, consultants, and other Laboratory Services staff in performing their duty.
Responsibilities
Receive, process, and label laboratory specimens accurately and in a timely manner.
Handle and/or disburse laboratory data and patient results as required.
Collaborate with caregivers, vendors, consultants, and other Laboratory Services staff to perform duties.
Qualifications
Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification upon hire.
Laboratory or related science experience.
Compensation and Benefits
Pay range: $18.83 - $28.80. The base pay range may be supplemented by shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
