Part‑time LPN / RN opportunity!
This position is only scheduled ONE day per week from 2:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. No weekends.
Week 1: Thursday
Week 2: Monday

Job Summary
Provides professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long‑term care under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician.
Demonstrates knowledge of nursing principles for the resident in the relevant clinical setting and applies competency within the full scope of nursing expertise.
Performs testing to evaluate data reflective of the resident’s status and provides the care needed.
Recognizes problems, recommends solutions, and responds effectively to assist in emergent situations.
Ensures the health, comfort and safety of residents, contributes to assessment, and administers medications or treatments as ordered.
Provides technical support to healthcare professionals as needed.
Documents resident interactions and outcomes related to care, medication, behavior, activity, and dietary.
Builds and maintains effective working relationships with residents, health care providers, and the public.
Works effectively with professional and supportive personnel as a member of an interdisciplinary care team.
Communicates clearly and maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.
Counsels residents, family members and/or resident advocate on prevention and treatment plans under the direction of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider or physician.
Applies resident education principles to develop a self‑care program.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Graduated from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse; an associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
If IV therapy/management skills are required, graduation from a Board‑approved AASPN program where IV therapy is part of the curriculum or completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing.
Attended a pre‑licensure nursing program that includes supervised clinical experience across the lifespan or has had a minimum of 400 hours of experience as an LPN at another facility.
Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with the State Nursing board and/or possesses multi‑state licensure privileges.
Obtains and subsequently maintains required department‑specific competencies and certifications, and completes required annual continuing education units (CEU) and competency training requirements.
