Responsibilities
Perform an initial nursing assessment upon new patients’ arrival
Develop individualized treatment plans
Transcribe, identify, disperse, and document medications given to patients at designated times
Transcribe and forward doctors’ orders to appropriate places as indicated
Review and sign off orders transcribed by other designated personnel
Supervise transition/transfer of patients to and from other units or facilities
Communicate with psychiatrist, medical doctor, team, and patients as appropriate to facilitate patient care; lead shift reports to further communication and transition of care
Oversee that patients have appropriate laboratory and diagnostic testing completed
Perform blood draws when necessary for fasting and emergency testing
Understand the bio‑psycho‑social etiology and treatment of eating disorders and function within the framework of the program implemented
Qualifications
1 year of psychiatric or medical nursing experience
Active state LPN license
Compensation
Washington Pay Range: $35 - $42 USD
