A Brief Overview
CGL Facility Management, LLC provides comprehensive contract facility maintenance services to commercial clients. This position will be responsible for preventive and corrective plumbing maintenance work and minimal installations with our client.
What You Will Do
Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems according to specifications and plumbing codes.
Install and repair plumbing fixtures such as sinks, showers, commodes, water heaters, hot water tanks, garbage disposals and dishwashers.
Assemble and install valves, pipe fittings, and pipes composed of metals, clay, and plastic using hand and power tools.
Conduct daily activities like drain cleaning, soldering, brazing, repair and installation of Drain Waste and Vent (DWV), installing toilets, water lines, P‑Traps, repair of water leaks, repair/replacement of valves, faucets, sinks, etc.
Complete all documentation required in compliance with CGL’s Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance work orders.
Perform work in accordance with established safety procedures and the standards of CGL Facility Maintenance, OSHA, and our clients.
Maintain a clean and safe workplace while and after performing grounds keeping tasks.
Provide training, mentorship, and direction to technicians.
Provide driving for the company using a company vehicle or personal/rental vehicle more than 50% of the time.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent) Required.
Minimum 2 years’ maintenance experience in plumbing for commercial environments.
Ability to handle general trade problems.
Self‑starter, motivated, and team player.
Ability to work in confined spaces, night shifts, and on call when needed.
Ability to replace automatic sprinkler heads for sprinkler system.
Familiarity with the design and layout of the facility.
Reliable and dependable attendance and punctuality.
Valid driver’s license in the state required.
Compensation
The hiring range for this position is generally between $27.00 to $35.00 per hour, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. Final salaries will be determined based on geographic location, skills, education, licenses, certifications, experience, and equity considerations.
