Practice Technology Specialist – Computational Design
Join the Information Technology team to tackle responsibilities alongside a team of creative, highly motivated individuals who are passionate about their work and ready to collaborate to achieve outstanding results.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement best practices and workflows for all Corgan offices with a primary focus on computational design solutions.

Provide BIM leadership and mentoring to staff of all levels, developing strong business relationships and enhancing day‑to‑day operations.

Support architects and interior designers in practice technology implementation throughout the design and construction process, providing technical assistance via in‑person, phone, and instant message communication.

Advocate for practice technology best practices and conduct training sessions in local and other offices, traveling as needed.

Develop and maintain add‑ins for Revit, project‑specific and firm‑wide Python scripts, Grasshopper scripts, and Dynamo graphs.

Conduct independent practice technology research and development.

Integrate Revit and Rhino with other applications.

Establish and support workflows related to computational design, BIM and digital project delivery, visualization, reality capture, sustainability and building performance data, and construction administration.

Deliver computational design and BIM related training sessions across the firm.

Develop and maintain UI/UX matching company brand standards.

Qualifications

Architectural or Interior Design degree plus four or more years of professional experience.

Experience coding with C# or Python (preferred).

Experience creating add‑ins for Autodesk Revit.

Experience integrating Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) (preferred).

Proficiency with parametric design through Grasshopper, Rhino.Inside, and Dynamo.

Experience with sustainability analysis tools (preferred).

Experience with generative design, performance‑driven design optimization, and data visualization.

Experience with Azure DevOps or other Git‑based version control (preferred).

About the Role
This full‑time on‑site position requires physical presence at the assigned office location Monday through Friday during standard business hours. Regular, reliable on‑site attendance is an essential function of this role.
