
Assembler - 2nd Shift

Position Overview
The position: An Assembler performs multiple tasks using a variety of hand‑held pneumatic tools and manufacturing equipment. Assemblers build component assemblies, as well as install and assemble semi‑trailers on a production line. Specific duties may vary from department to department.
Perks
Two weeks paid vacation.
+$2/hour night shift premium.
Wages starting from $20.20/hour.
Schedule
Monday-Thursday.
2nd shift: 4:00 PM–2:30 AM.
Available overtime.
No previous experience required.
Roles & Responsibilities
Operate various handheld pneumatic and electric power tools and other machinery including drills, drivers, riveters, impact wrenches, nut‑runners, saws, and grinders.
Work with building materials such as steel, aluminum, wood, fiberglass, composites, fasteners, adhesives, and oil‑based products.
Supply area with materials using an overhead crane, forklift, hand or powered carts, or by hand.
Keep equipment and work area clean and orderly.
Observe all safety and security procedures.
Perform other routine duties as necessary.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Use pneumatic power tools and equipment of all types.
Accurately read a tape measure.
Perform and remember multiple tasks from day to day.

Identify potential cost savings, reduce scrap and waste.
Perform tasks to meet or exceed required production levels.
Inspect product per standard operating procedures.
Work in mechanically oriented situations following supervisor instructions.
Aptitude to learn and retain new information.
Follow verbal or written instructions.
Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
Communicate effectively in English.
Physical & Mental Requirements
Office and plant environment.
Keyboarding, lifting, standing, bending, walking.

Stand and move about on concrete for 8–12 hours a day; ability to see, walk, bend, reach, grasp, stoop, kneel, twist, crawl, carry, climb (including ladders), work overhead, push, and pull.

Maneuver large parts and assemblies (up to 180 lbs) by pushing, pulling, and flipping into place.
Work in a constant state of alertness.
