Mental Illness is more prevalent than ever after all we have endured since 2020. Peachford is the leading free‑standing psychiatric hospital in Georgia and we are looking for Registered Nurses who have experience or an interest in Mental Health Nursing to help us meet the needs of our community.

Responsibilities
Assist in crisis stabilization and ICU care in a high acuity environment on a variety of shifts. Charge nurse roles are also available.

Qualifications
Education

Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Experience

Prefer one year of nursing experience

Certifications / Licensure

State of Georgia or eCompact MultiState Nursing License

Other Helpful Skills

Written and oral communication skills.

Skills in case management.

Skills in time management.

Knowledge of acute psychological disorders, and advanced principles of abnormal psychology.

Familiarity with follow-up resource services available to patients.

Skills in maintaining information as highly confidential.

Ability to treat all age populations as needed or have the capacity to develop skills through the organization’s cross‑training and orientation program.

Ability to clearly summarize pertinent clinical information via written correspondence and medical records documentation.
