2 Full Time Seasonal H-2A Jobs available 2/15/2026 - 12/5/2026. Crops/Commodities: Organic crops including but not limited to: vegetables, micro greens, edible/cut flowers, ginger, herbs.
Responsibilities
Primary duties (performed the majority of workdays): Jobs offered are working on a diversified organic crop farm performing both manual and mechanized tasks associated with commodity production and harvest activities. Workers must be able to perform manual and mechanized tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
Prepare fields/soil for planting; remove cull stock, debris, tree stumps, brush, ferns, vines and other growth from planting area using tractor or hand tools.
Plant, cultivate and harvest vegetables using hand tools (shovels, hoes, hand snips, knives); plant roots, seeds and bulbs; spread plastic or other groundcovering; clean plastic by hand from ground upon removal; till soil; weed and thin plants; transplant by hand or with a mechanical transplanter; stake/tie plants, trellis/prune plants, and set poles and wires for vine plants.
Pick, cut, lift, or pull crops by hand or using harvesting machine; tie vegetables in bunches; grade, size and field pack product; handle to prevent damage; apply pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, and other crop protectants; mix and apply fertilizers and other plant treatments as appropriate.
Cultivate, sort, and pack potatoes; weed fields by hand or hoe; perform manual and machine tasks for grain and hay crops production (disking, aerating, seeding, stacking hay); plant, maintain, harvest, husk and pack rice; transplant rice; harvest rice into drying bins; husk and pack into bags.
Plant, cultivate and maintain nursery plants (microgreens); seed trays; understand nursery quality control standards; harvest crops according to specific standards.
Plant, cultivate, harvest, and pack cut flowers; work in fields and greenhouses; move harvested flowers to barn/greenhouse and place in cooler; pull cut flowers from cooler, bundle, wrap, and re-pack; lay fabric; manage drip line after harvest.
All crops: record harvest location and weight, move harvested crops into coolers or storage, work on production line, wash, grade, size, sort, and pack product; bunch/bundle product per supervisor instructions; fill bins/trays and other containers, level bins, and prepare product for shipment to market or storage; perform quality control on inbound/outbound loads; follow quality control standards and production procedures; handle product carefully to prevent damage.
Lift, carry, and load/unload products or supplies; palletize and stack boxes/containers; use power equipment including forklifts, conveyor belts, and cooling equipment/refrigeration units; operate equipment safely with or without direction; assist with regular maintenance on equipment.
