Job Details
We are hiring evening shift nurses (3 pm–11 pm) for our inpatient detox and residential treatment facility in Cambridge, MD.
What You'll Do
Manage complete medical intake process to ensure a seamless transition into treatment
Complete all nursing shift duties (vitals, drug screens, scheduling appointments and lab work, etc.)
Coordinate pharmacy and prescription needs, dispense medication, and keep accurate med logs
Collaborate with extended medical, clinical and UR teams for total coordination of care
Ensure complete, timely and accurate medical documentation for each client
What We're Looking For
Minimum one year diploma program post‑high school
Current licensure necessary to practice in‑state, or compact licensure with multistate privileges – LPN
Strong written and oral communication skills
Detail‑oriented, with ability to multitask and work efficiently
Compassionate and dignified character that models recovery principles

Avenues Recovery Center at Eastern Shore is a 100‑bed residential facility offering inpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation services. Our expansive building is newly renovated, modern and appealing, offering an array of amenities and a true hotel‑like experience. Set on 7.74 acres of picturesque and secluded property, Avenues at Eastern Shore provides the ideal setting for clients to heal, re‑connect and re‑discover themselves. Our multidisciplinary staff includes therapists, clinicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, addictions counselors and behavioral health technicians, all trained in key therapeutic modalities and providing compassionate, dignified and unsurpassed care each day.
