Daily Responsibilities
Maintain equipment, building, utilities and grounds following community approved methods.
Assist in maintaining the emergency power generating equipment along with all fire and life safety equipment and help conduct fire drills and safety inspections.
Provide residents and staff with a timely and effective response to service requests.
Ensure all equipment and systems function properly and safely, and ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations/ordinances.
Work with the department Director to ensure that the community plant and grounds are maintained in a good state of repair and project a good visual image to the community at large.
Maintain maintenance schedules and update progress of open service requests.
Qualifications
High School diploma.
Previous experience in senior living or healthcare setting is highly desired.
Previous HVAC experience or HVAC certification is preferred.
Ability to work 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with rotating weekends; schedule may include some holidays.
