A Level 1 Trauma Center is located just 70 miles east of Pittsburgh and houses two Intensive Care units: a 14‑bed ICU and an 11‑bed CCU. The ICU admission service is closed, and patient care is solely handled by the ICU intensivists. The new pulmonary practice offers an opportunity to practice a 50/50 split in pulmonary and critical care.
