Schedule:
Flexible; event-based employment. Must have Monday-Friday morning availability.
Role Overview:
We are currently seeking Health Screeners to join our team in Bismarck, ND. This role offers as‑needed opportunities with flexible scheduling and highly competitive pay. You will perform health screenings for local companies’ employees.
Essential Job Functions
Perform and record biometric testing results (height, weight, blood pressure, body fat, BMI).
Conduct blood testing, including fingerstick and/or venipuncture draws, in a fast‑paced environment.
Prepare specimens for storage or further processing.
Set up and break down portable blood draw/biometric stations.
Transport supplies to and from health‑screening events (lifting up to 20 lbs).
Maintain logs and records for all laboratory transactions in accordance with department and regulatory requirements.
May perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Certification
Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
Current national certification in Phlebotomy from an approved organization, or one of the following: certificate/diploma and transcripts from an accredited phlebotomy program with a completed externship; over 100 successful fingersticks in the last year; or a minimum of 200 successful venipuncture draws in the last six months.
Active state‑specific phlebotomy certification required for candidates performing phlebotomy in NV, CA, WA, and LA.
Experience
Preferred: 1+ year of health screening or phlebotomy experience.
Knowledge and Skills
Outstanding customer service skills.
Punctual, responsible, able to work with limited supervision.
Professional demeanor and appearance.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Proof of professional credentialing.
Computer/internet savvy.
Knowledge of safety and organizational policies, OSHA regulations preferred.
Reliable transportation.
Background check clearance.
Available for PRN, event‑driven position.
