Job Purpose
The ER Technician II supports the mission and values of Methodist Health System by delivering comprehensive basic patient care and assisting with direct patient care to patients, families, and other Emergency Services staff. Responsibilities include therapeutic treatments as ordered by the physician on duty, operating laboratory equipment, patient discharge processes, and patient education.

12X3 Day shift (United States of America)
Responsibilities
Provide basic patient care duties and assist with direct patient care.
Deliver therapeutic treatments as ordered by the physician on duty.
Operate laboratory equipment.
Facilitate patient discharge and provide patient education.
Education
High school diploma or general educational degree (GED).
Job Requirements
Current Texas EMT‑P certification (required) or National EMT‑P certification.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required within 90 days of hire.
1 year of work‑related experience preferred.
