Key Responsibilities

Perform moderately complex electro‑mechanical functions including design, test, checkout, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting, and assembly of electronics and electro‑mechanical systems.

Conduct experimental design circuitry, prototype models, and specialized test equipment, tools, and fixtures.

Test and troubleshoot system‑level and component‑level problems in electrical and mechanical systems and sub‑systems.

Set up new system and NPI installations and perform field upgrades.

Use schematics, diagrams, and written descriptions to perform moderate testing and troubleshooting.

Compile logbooks and test procedures; assist in revising and implementing department procedures.

Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic & vacuum and process testing on AMAT platforms; document results in engineering and manufacturing specifications.

Observe all safety standards and maintain a secure, safe, clean, and healthy work environment.

Attend required health and safety training; report accidents, injuries, and safety hazards promptly.

Familiarize with current manufacturing and engineering processes; stay informed of procedural changes.

Assist in problem correction, rework, and determine remedies for malfunctions; generate Quality Notifications.

Other Requirements
This is a physically demanding position that may require standing, walking, working in tight spaces, bending, squatting, twisting, kneeling, reaching, climbing stairs and ladders, lifting, and operating heavy machinery including forklifts.

Work may occur in a clean room; appropriate personal protective equipment such as coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields may be required.
