Job Summary
We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Science Teacher certificated in either Physics and/or Chemistry. This educator will play a key role in supporting selected science programs through the demonstration of lessons, modeling, and direct explanation of effective teaching strategies. This support may also include the coordination and implementation of department programs to strengthen instructional practices schoolwide. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to all students, aligning with our charter’s mission to provide first-class citizens with a world-class education. In addition to delivering high-quality physics/chemistry instruction, the teacher will utilize individual student assessments to support and enhance classroom learning, ensuring that every student is challenged and supported in their academic growth.
Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality physics and/or chemistry instruction to students.
Demonstrate and model effective teaching strategies and classroom management.
Coordinate and implement department programs to strengthen instructional practices schoolwide.
Assess individual student progress and tailor instruction to promote student growth and achievement.
Collaborate with colleagues to support the school’s mission and student success.
Qualifications
Cross cultural, Language and Academic Development Certificate
Single Subject Teaching Credential – Physics OR Single Subject Teaching Credential – Chemistry
