Work Schedule
100% FTE, Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:30 am - 5:00 pm. Hours are based off the operational needs of the department. You will work at both Eastpark Medical Center and University Hospital, both located in Madison, WI.

Job Description
We are seeking a

Registered Nurse (RN)

to deliver compassionate, coordinated, and multidisciplinary care through a comprehensive, patient‑centered approach.

Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, coordinated, and multidisciplinary care through a comprehensive, patient‑centered approach.

Partner with breast cancer patients and their families across all stages of care, including prevention, screening, diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship.

Provide education and coordinate follow‑up care related to breast imaging and biopsy results.

Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team including breast surgeons, plastic surgeons, medical oncologists, radiologists, and advanced practice providers.

Perform targeted patient assessments during in‑person visits and via telephone to support ongoing care needs.

Qualifications

Graduate of school of nursing – Required

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) – Preferred

Work Experience

6 months of RN experience – Required

Relevant Inpatient RN experience – Preferred

Ambulatory experience – Preferred

Relevant oncology experience – Preferred

Chemotherapy experience – Preferred

Experience with Venous Access Devices (VADs) and IV skills – Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

Registration as a registered nurse in the state where employed or licensure in a state in the licensure compact – required upon hire

Current CPR/BLS certification – required upon hire

Certification in specialty area of practice – Preferred
