Job Summary
Trinity Health FirstChoice is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13‑week travel assignment in Syracuse, New York. The position is 40 hours per week (4 × 10‑hour shifts), starting ASAP.
Responsibilities
Perform imaging procedures and provide patient services using imaging modalities.
Operate and maintain interventional radiology equipment and machinery.
Conduct preventative maintenance procedures for imaging equipment.
Adhere to safety standards and use Material Safety Data Sheets.
Perform required sterilization techniques.
Follow hospital policy and procedures related to the job function.
Maintain patient, staff, and visitor confidentiality.
Educate patients and families in the specialty area.
Qualifications
Completion of formal imaging training from an AMA‑approved school.
Certification or licensure: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers, Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board, and/or New York State Department of Health license.
Mechanical and/or electrical dexterity and ability.
Physical capability to stand, walk, sit, lift, carry, push, and pull (medium work).
Ability to perform required duties within a clinical setting (Exposure Class I).
