Merrill's Financial Advisors and Wealth Management Client Associates help clients pursue the life they envision through a personal relationship with an advisory team committed to their needs. The team is equipped with access to investment insights of Merrill coupled with the banking convenience of Bank of America.
Role Overview
As a Financial Solutions Advisor within the centralized segment of the Advisor Development Program, you begin your journey by obtaining Securities Industry licenses. You receive dedicated, personalized classes for your Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7 and Series 66 exams. After licensing, you are taught foundational advisor skills such as acquiring, building, and managing client relationships, and guiding clients through their complex financial picture. You then join the centralized team as a phone‑based, licensed advisor.
Responsibilities
Obtain Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 licenses within the required time frames.
Participate in structured training to acquire advisor skills such as client acquisition, relationship management, and solution recommendations.
Provide clients with holistic financial advice and guidance via phone, identifying broader product and service solutions that meet their investment, savings, and liability management needs.
Align Merrill and Bank of America products and services where appropriate to meet client needs.
Conduct client reviews and presentations, recommending strategies to help clients achieve their financial goals and life priorities.
Collaborate with core banking and investment partners to connect clients to all available solutions.

Benefits & Compensation
Pay range: $28.85 - $33.65 hourly based on experience, education, and skill set.
Base salary with no incentive eligibility.

This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements. Employees engaged in residential loan mortgage originations must register with the federal registry system and remain in good standing.
