Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare is seeking a talented and dynamic Biller/Collector - Full-Time. Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare is a 120 bed capacity behavioral health facility that provides psychiatric services. We specialize in treatment for adults, children and adolescents. Brentwood Behavioral offers both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services. Located in Flowood, MS, in Rankin County with close proximity to Hinds and Madison Counties, our outpatient services are within driving distance to many surrounding areas. We help individuals and families achieve optimal mental health, resulting in improved quality of life. Job Description: The Biller / Collector is responsible for preparing and submitting hardcopy and electronic UB-92 and CMS-1500 claims. This role ensures accurate and timely billing, evaluates insurance Explanation of Benefits (EOBs), follows up with third-party payers on claim status, and secures all information required to facilitate proper claim payment. The Biller / Collector supports the revenue cycle by maintaining accuracy, compliance, and efficiency throughout the billing and collection process.

Qualifications Minimum Requirements: High school graduate required, some college helpful. Computer literacy, have a working knowledge of hospital billing and coding, including UB92 and 1900. Ability to follow up and collect from third party insurance companies. Understanding of insurance companies EOBs. Preferred: One year experience in a psychiatric billing/insurance/collections setting.
