Inventory Control Associate – 3rd Shift
Location: Souderton, Pennsylvania
The primary responsibilities of the Inventory Control Associate include retrieving, issuing, and stocking parts and materials, entering requisitions, ordering supplies for plant operations, and assisting purchasing supervisors and managers with their duties. Additional duties involve cycle counting, auditing inventory, confirming deliveries, processing invoices, entering receiving data, investigating and reconciling inventory variances, and maintaining housekeeping and labeling of storage areas. The role also requires unloading incoming materials, placing them into correct storage locations, notifying departments, and staging materials for return.
Responsibilities
Store, cycle count, and audit inventory
Confirm deliveries, process invoices, and enter receiving data
Investigate and reconcile inventory variances as required
Perform housekeeping of storage areas, maintain labeling and material identification
Receive parts and materials, process them, notify relevant departments, and stage materials for return
Unload incoming materials and place them into correct storage locations in the warehouse
Qualifications
Ability to lift 50 lbs (with or without reasonable accommodation)
Operate a forklift
Good communication skills
Understand and follow unit conversions
Follow process maps
Handwriting issue slips
Use computer database to find parts and materials for maintenance and other departments
Cross-train to work in all areas of purchasing, including warehouse, fleet, office, etc.
Strong computer skills
SAP experience preferred
Microsoft Excel experience preferred
