Responsibilities
The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for the inventory of all vehicles at the facility within company timelines.
Document vehicle condition within company standards, including a complete inventory and supporting photographs of each vehicle.
Direct the flow of traffic in the receiving area to ensure timely processing of vehicle inventory using a system of priorities.
Facilitate the Copart experience by offering solutions to meet customer needs through a thorough understanding of Copart policy.
Monitor, maintain and organize the receiving area.
Operate camera and utilize a handheld inventory device to process incoming vehicles.
Determine operational capability of motor vehicles and complete vehicle inspection inventories (TLEs) on required vehicles.
Maintain inventory of all materials used.
Comply with company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Must be 18 years or older
Ability to work outdoors in all seasons
General automotive knowledge/mechanical aptitude preferred
Basic computer proficiency, with the ability to operate handheld devices preferred
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work in a team environment
Driver's license preferred
Bilingual skill a plus
Compensation
Pay $18.00 - $20.29 per hour
