Utilities Process Engineer SME
Responsibilities
Designing and developing utility infrastructure projects.
Conducting feasibility studies and cost estimates for projects.
Understanding of key utilities operations and critical aspects (chilled water, wastewater treatment, clean utilities, steam) to enable equipment selection and installation strategies.
Ensuring compliance with safety standards and government regulations.
Performing regular inspections and maintenance of utility systems.
Oversee the construction and commissioning of utility systems, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
Collaborating with other engineers, contractors, and government agencies.
Troubleshooting and resolving issues within utility systems.
Preparing technical reports and documentation.
Supervising and training junior engineers and technicians.
Reviewing and approving construction plans and blueprints.
Estimating project timelines and resource requirements.
Ensuring customer satisfaction and addressing service complaints.
Technical proficiency to provide guidance on equipment and process selection.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in direct pharmaceutical, medical device or biotechnology industries.
Experience in direct process / manufacturing areas.
Must be fully bilingual (English / Spanish) with excellent oral skills.
Must be proficient using MS Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
Strong knowledge in cGxP and regulatory guidance as well as understanding of how they are applied to regulatory compliance.
Technical Writing skills and investigations processes.
Available to work extended hours, possibility of weekends and holidays.
