Product Manager (DNS Security)

Job Summary
The DNS Security product group seeks a Product Manager to own and execute the strategy for DNS Security Service. This individual will be responsible for understanding DNS Security technologies and the underlying protocol, vendor landscape, market trends, and gathering customer requirements at both a market and technical level that would drive the product roadmap. The role will require collaboration with other product and cross‑functional teams that include engineering, product marketing, and sales to deliver web security solutions to solve customer problems with speed and agility. This individual will also engage with strategic customers to understand their security challenges and the competitive landscape in order to build and execute a product strategy that displaces the competition.

Key Responsibilities

Conceptualize and define differentiated features for DNS Security through a deep understanding of the evolving threat landscape, advances in protocols, and customer pain‑points across our core and growth markets.

Collaborate with product leaders to build out business cases, author PRDs, and work with cross‑functional product, engineering, and design teams to plan and release features.

Assist the field and customers in understanding our value, competitive differentiation, and best practices for implementing our product.

Communicate product value to both customers and the business in a compelling manner using slides and documents.

Engage customers and develop relationships via executive briefings, product evangelism, and requirements gathering.

Be a great team player—an excellent communicator, strong collaborator, and someone who solicits feedback from others and welcomes better ideas.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications

BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or another technical degree.

5+ years of experience in highly technical roles in product management, development, or enterprise services, at large organizations or innovative startups.

Direct experience in DNS Security, Secure Web Gateways (SWG), Threat Prevention or a similar technology.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent presentation skills.

Excellent people skills and a team mentality.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with UX/UI development.

Demonstrable track record of success.

Compensation Disclosure
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non‑sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be the annual range listed below.
