Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As Treasury Manager - Capital Structure and Corporate Development, you will engage with Treasury, Finance, Accounting, Tax, Legal, Corporate Development and 3M’s Business Groups to actively manage corporate capital structure, global liquidity, and a pipeline of M&A activity. You will also manage all aspects of Treasury engagement with corporate development transactions and develop enterprise‑level financial models to support capital structure, leverage and liquidity considerations.
Own and evolve 3M’s global banking and financial institution relationships
Shape and execute 3M’s global liquidity and capital deployment strategy, including cash forecasting and cross‑border repatriation
Drive enterprise‑wide working capital and cash flow optimization initiatives
Define capital structure and liquidity frameworks, including financial modeling and scenario analysis
Support Treasury’s strategic involvement in M&A and divestitures, advising on structuring and execution
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance (completed and verified prior to start).
Seven (7) years of experience working in finance, capital markets, investment banking, and treasury management in a private, public, government or military environment.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Self‑starter with ability to drive change
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and prioritization skills
Financial markets acumen, enterprise treasury knowledge, experience with rating agencies
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
Treasury Management System experience (e.g., Kyriba)
Experience engaging with external parties, including investment banks
Strong experience influencing across the organization
Advanced education or certification such as MBA, CTP, or CFA
Location & Travel
On‑site working model: at least four days a week at the 3M Center in Maplewood, MN.
Travel may include up to 5% domestic/international.
Relocation is not authorized.

Compensation
Applicable to US Applicants Only: The expected compensation range for this position is $188,251 – $230,084, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
