Salary Range: $105,000 - $160,200 annually (salary range is based on market data; final salary offered is determined by education, experience, and qualifications of the applicant.)

Job Summary
In this role, you will be responsible for material management activities for a project or jobsite. You will ensure conformance to corporate policies including the receipt, inspection, storage, inventory control, physical security, and issue of materials and equipment. You will monitor employee utilization, work hours, and staffing. Your efforts will help ensure accurate, efficient, and timely material management.

Major Responsibilities

Responsible for material management activities for project temporary operating and jobsite locations on a medium sized project.

Identify the need and complete the action for all UOS&D material and equipment received at project temporary operating and jobsite locations.

Initiate actions to identify and dispose of material and equipment declared excess to project needs by project management.

Prepare recommendations for facilities and equipment necessary to provide for professional material management operations at project temporary and jobsite locations, as specifically directed by the Project Field Procurement Manager - this activity begins as early as practical in the planning stages and continues throughout the project.

Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience OR 12-14 years of relevant work experience.

Required Knowledge and Skills

Management/Supervisory experience in warehousing/laydown and materials management; knowledge of field procurement operations related to the receipt, storage and control of materials on a project.

Knowledge of field engineering disciplines, work processes and the deliverables produced.

Extensive knowledge of vendor materials, tools, consumables and safety material commonly utilized during construction.

Experience in receiving documentation paperwork requirements.

Experience in rental agreements and administration.

Experience in work packaging materials for construction planning.
