Summary Description
The TOPPAN internship program is designed to “test the waters” of working in the manufacturing and packaging industry. You will spend your time working in a specific division on impactful projects, establishing an understanding of TOPPAN’s culture and processes, as well as developing a business mindset. The program is a blend of hands-on experiences and opportunities. Throughout the program you can expect to gain a better understanding of your future potential at TOPPAN through valuable project work. Our internship program is designed to be a step towards joining the Emerging Leaders Program or other entry-level positions upon graduation. With approximately 150 locations in 34 states, your internship could be anywhere.
What You’ll Be Doing
Assist projects in any of our supply chain pillars “Order Management / Demand Planning / Capacity Planning / Materials Management / Supply Management”
Support supplier communication, including collecting information, scheduling meetings and following up on action items.
Perform data matching and reconciliation between internal systems, including, but not limited to, purchase orders, and invoices.
Maintain document accuracy and organization in shared document databases.
Help prepare reports and presentations using Excel and/or PowerPoint.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement discussions.
This is an onsite position based out of our DeKalb, IL Facility
We’d Love To Hear From You If
Currently pursuing a college degree, preferably related to Manufacturing/Operations/Quality
Detail-oriented with good organizational and time management skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional roles with support.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint, adept at working with data.
Team-oriented with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
Compensation
Based on year of college student is enrolled in:
Freshman - $15.50
Sophomore - $16.25
Junior - $18.00
Senior - $19.50
