Product Manager – Serologicals and Containers
in our Life Sciences segment.
Scope of Position
Reporting to the Business Manager, the Product Manager will have global commercial responsibility for the Serologicals and Containers portfolio, interacting with internal teams (Sales, Technical Support, Order Service, Forecasting, Inventory Control, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, R&D) to ensure customer needs are met.
Major Responsibilities
Drive top-line sales growth and manage costs to achieve Sales and AGM targets.
Lead integrated business planning for supervised products.
Maintain competitive product, customer and market trend knowledge.
Lead long-term product line planning and continuous improvement.
Manage new product development process (forecast, channel, commercial launch).
Commercial Activities
Define annual commercial plan per product line including pricing strategy and promotional initiatives.
Collaborate with key dealers to develop marketing programs and support sales growth.
Monitor opportunity pipeline to support sales team as needed.
Marketing and Communications Activities
Define annual communication plan for the product line.
Work with the MarCom team to develop marketing content and collateral.
Oversee coordination of conferences and tradeshows to support the products.
Manufacturing Activities
Approve and communicate product changes internally and externally.
Support product complaints and voice-of-customer feedback.
Contribute to product benchmarking and lead manufacturing projects related to supervised products.
Travel Requirements
Up to 30% domestic and international travel.
Work Schedule
Monday–Friday, standard business hours.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, supply chain, science, or engineering.
Experience
Minimum 5+ years of business experience in product management, marketing, and/or sales within the Life Science industry.
Required Skills
Digital environment agility.
Market sizing and requirement assessment.
Ability to develop a business case for new opportunities.
In-depth knowledge of market, products, technology, and customers.
Result-driven mindset.
Proficiency with marketing tools and techniques.
Working knowledge of manufacturing, engineering, supply chain and finance functions.
