Leidos Integration Engineer Team Lead
Leidos Defense Systems, Systems Integration and Test Team is seeking an Integration Engineer Team Lead to implement unique solutions for complex defense projects.
Primary Responsibilities
Work directly with the customer and contractors to execute program requirements
Execute test plans for development, qualification and acceptance phases of hardware projects
Create, modify and use Hardware‑In‑the‑Loop test platforms to satisfy testing requirements
Complete requirements verification and validation documentation and reports
Perform test data analysis via data log parser, Wireshark and software debug tools
Brief internal and external parties on test results and data
Debug software and/or hardware with various tools
Work outside in all weather conditions and lift up to 40 pounds as required
Travel minimally for test events (approximately 4 weeks a year)
Basic Qualifications
ABET accredited B.S. or equivalent degree in computer engineering, computer science, or electrical engineering with 2+ years experience, or less than 2 years with an M.S. degree
Knowledge of and experience with defense or commercial test engineering practices and processes
Experience developing and executing hardware or software test plans and procedures
Hands‑on experience with hardware, software or system integration, troubleshooting and testing
Preferred Qualifications
Two to four years of experience with test planning and execution
Experience working with RADAR or RF systems
Operating electronic test equipment (oscilloscope, voltmeter, signal analyzer/generator, antenna analyzer, power meter)
Knowledge of Python, C, C++, C# or firmware languages for Xilinx or Altera devices
Experience with Linux, MATLAB, LabVIEW and Wireshark
Experience preparing and presenting briefings or demonstrations to customers and management
Planning and executing demonstration tests and US government test ranges or facilities
Pay Range
$69,550.00 - $125,725.00
