Team/Position Summary
The Content Lab Team at Nintendo of America (NOA) acts as an in-house creative partner, designed to strategically ideate, innovate, produce, and deliver quality content on various channels. This position is part of the Content Lab Operations Team and will provide intake and coordination of multimedia projects, facilitating communication between English and Japanese-speaking teams. Position will also provide administrative support for the Content Lab Team.
Description of Duties
Serves as first point of contact for project intake, triaging requests based on established priority guidelines and resource availability.
Partners with project stakeholders to ensure requests contain all relevant information prior to being assigned.
Coordinates the communication pipeline for multimedia asset approval with Japanese-speaking teams at Nintendo Company, Ltd. via Jira, email, and Microsoft Teams.
Supports A/V producers in filtering communication, connecting resources to find solutions, and keeping production team on track with key milestones.
Organizes feedback on deliverables from stakeholders for production team; ensures all relevant approvals have been provided before asset release.
Transcodes existing video files for final delivery based on client specifications, as needed.
Facilitates file transfers with Nintendo Company, Ltd, Nintendo of Europe (NOE), Engineering, Product Testing, remote offices, and marketing agencies.
May provide additional support to Content Lab Operations Team by updating process documentation, assisting with game footage capture, and/or other administrative duties.
Summary of Requirements
One to three years related experience.
Five or more years of experience translating (J/E and E/J).
Strong organizational skills with a mindful attention to detail.
Project intake and coordination experience with a proven understanding of the audio/video production pipeline; experience in video post-production or creative agency preferred.
Excellent organizational, written and verbal business communication skills in Japanese and English.
Experience with Wrike project management software preferred.
Basic experience with non-linear audio/video editing programs and graphic design programs preferred (Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop, etc.).
Familiarity with both Windows and macOS X equipment, software, and terminology.
Knowledge of video games and industry helpful.
Bachelor's degree strongly preferred or equivalent experience.

This position is hybrid in Redmond, WA. Hybrid positions require regular onsite work following the schedule and guidelines for their division. This position is not open to fully remote status at this time.
This position includes the base pay range listed below, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
Pay Range: $33.27 - $53.22 USD
