Senior Sourcing Analyst

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Sourcing Analyst to join our dynamic Finance organization supporting Supply Chain and Transportation. This role is pivotal in managing our indirect sourcing activities, with a primary focus on third-party transportation and logistics. You will be at the forefront of our procurement efforts, managing the entire Request for Proposal (RFP) process for critical services, including Less-Than-Truckload (LTL), Truckload, Intermodal, and Fleet Vehicle acquisitions.

What You'll Do:
Lead the end-to-end RFP process for third-party transportation vendors, including LTL, truckload, intermodal, parcel, and international ocean carriers.
Utilize our RFx tool (Keelber) to set up, conduct, and manage competitive sourcing events.
Perform complex data analysis and scenario modeling to evaluate vendor proposals, identifying the most cost-effective and strategic partners for the business.
Support major sourcing projects, such as the acquisition of fleet vehicles and securing truckload transportation capacity.
Manage sourcing for small parcel outbound shipping from our distribution centers, supplementing our primary fleet coverage.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure sourcing strategies align with organizational goals.
Analyze large datasets to identify trends, cost‑saving opportunities, and areas for process improvement.
What You Bring to the Table:
A highly analytical mindset with exceptional critical thinking skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Proven experience working with large volumes of data and a strong aptitude for numbers.
Background in the transportation or logistics space, with a strong preference for experience in sourcing third‑party carriers.
The ability to ask insightful questions to uncover needs and drive clarity.
A resilient and reliable work ethic, with the ability to learn from mistakes and prevent small errors from escalating.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
Experience with data querying and analysis tools like Snowflake and other RFx platforms is a significant plus.
