
Front Office Coordinator

A growing healthcare provider is seeking a Front Office Coordinator to act as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a smooth, professional, and efficient front desk experience.
Key Responsibilities
Greet patients and visitors in person and over the phone in a professional, patient-focused manner
Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments to optimize provider time and patient flow
Register new patients and update existing patient records, including demographics and insurance details
Verify insurance eligibility and benefits using payer systems
Collect copays and outstanding balances at time of service
Post charges accurately in line with provider documentation and coding guidelines
Answer and triage incoming calls, directing inquiries to appropriate clinical or administrative staff
Maintain organized patient records, including scanning, filing, and fax management
Support daily reporting and reconciliation of front office financials
Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure seamless patient experience
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
1+ year experience in a medical office or healthcare setting
Familiarity with scheduling systems, insurance verification, and patient registration processes preferred
Strong customer service and patient-facing communication skills
Excellent organizational and multitasking ability
High attention to detail and accuracy, particularly with data entry and billing
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
