Every weekend: Friday 8:00 AM‑6:30 PM (10‑hour shift), Saturday 6:30 AM‑7:00 PM (12‑hour shift), Sunday 6:30 AM‑7:00 PM (12‑hour shift). Gets paid for 40 hours per week. Additional overnight shift differential and $5 000 sign‑on bonus available.
Job Summary
Operates CT scanner equipment—including CT, X‑ray, and fluoroscopic imaging—to produce radiographs of designated patient body portions.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Enter all exam charges into the system or direct them to Material Services and Pharmacy as appropriate.
Perform high‑quality CT radiological examinations on patients of all ages, addressing and responding to individual patient needs.
Collaborate with the radiologist to learn and follow preferred imaging protocols and provide accurate information regarding patient symptoms and history.
Maintain exam rooms, equipment, and supplies in an orderly fashion to ensure readiness for the next patient.
Maintain education, knowledge, and training required to provide up‑to‑date quality care and stay current with CEU requirements as required by the ARRT.
Maintain accurate records to meet regulatory and professional standards.
Participate in working all shifts in the department, including weekends and holidays.
Use good judgment in crisis situations and on specific issues.
Perform all other related duties as assigned.
Education, Training or Degree Required
Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program providing education and training in the treatment of patients in all age groups.
Satisfactory completion of a clinical rotation in Radiology.
Appropriate CT training.
License / Registration / Certification Required
Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or eligible registration.
Current CPR certification.
Experience and Skills
Two years of training under a qualified and licensed radiologist (preferred).
Working knowledge of anatomy, principles of physics and electricity.
Knowledge of exposure methods, ability to set up and operate equipment.
Working knowledge of contrast media.
Understanding of anatomical positions (supine, prone, lateral, upright, Trendelenburg).
Sufficient knowledge of patient care and sterile techniques for all types of conditions.
