Job Description
Con-Strux is a concrete and wood recycling company with many locations throughout Long Island. Established over 30 years ago, Con-Strux has maintained their goal of providing local solutions to global problems. Con-Strux has expanded their services to include street sweeping, mobile crushing, and transportation. Their focus is sustainability and customer satisfaction. Con-Strux remains a frontrunner in their industry by recycling concrete crushings with only environmentally conscious and compliant processes.
Responsibilities
General labor for concrete crushing machine
Movement and handling of heavy materials/equipment, must be able to lift 70 lbs.
Complete tasks and projects using hand tools
Maintain production and quality control
Clean up site and materials daily
Ensure safety at the worksite
Qualifications
No experience necessary. Will train the right, teachable candidate.
Must be able to pass a drug test
Must have a valid driver's license.
Heavy equipment or skid steer experience a plus.
Knowledge of concrete crushing machines a plus.
Knowledge of wood grinder Morbark and Hogzilla a plus
Knowledge of loaders and excavators a plus
Location: Eastport, NY
Compensation: $20-25/hour. Overtime, 401K, and full union benefits
