Role Description

This role supports Project Managers to ensure Arcadis projects are set up, forecast, billed, and closed in a timely manner as set out in the Arcadis Way Principles. Work closely with Business Unit Controllers to ensure accurate reporting of performance, minimize working capital, and escalate risks identified.
Role Accountabilities

Build trusted relationships with Business Directors to ensure appropriate quality and service
Drive working capital improvements through timely billing, proactive support for cash collection, and close collaboration with Credit Control and operational teams to resolve issues quickly.
Support Project Managers on Oracle where required
Advise Project Managers on efficient project set-up structures, ensuring revenue recognition in compliance with IFRS
Identify continuous improvement and encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing across the wider finance team
Support Project Managers to reforecast projects as required; identify and challenge project performance changes to drive accuracy of month end reporting
Support on project reviews as required; report any risks identified to management
Lead robust project forecasting and review cycles, challenging assumptions and ensuring movements in forecast and backlog are understood, realistic, and well supported.
Use financial and operational insight to challenge performance, improve predictability, and support stronger commercial outcomes.
Responsible for delivering timely & high quality financial support to the business
Acts as a key finance contact and trusted business partner for Business Directors
Work collaboratively with other Finance Project Controllers and BU Controller to support the wider business and drive continuous improvement
Comply with Arcadis Way policies and procedures
Qualifications & Experience

Project accounting experience
Relevant experience of working in a medium/large organisation
Excel and ERP to a medium proficiency
Strong stakeholder management skills

We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $58,320 - $87,480. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
