Responsibilities
Provide supervision and hands‑on assistance with bathing, dressing, and other essential hygiene tasks to ensure clients feel comfortable and cared for.
Promote mobility by encouraging clients to adhere to their prescribed exercise programs, including range‑of‑motion exercises and walking.
Assist in transferring clients from bed to chair, turning and repositioning them as per their care plans, and addressing pressure point care.
Prepare meals that meet specific dietary needs, remind clients about their medications, and provide continence care.
Housekeeping responsibilities to ensure a clean and safe environment, including tasks such as laundry, trash removal, and grocery shopping for those who can drive.
Qualifications
HHA or CNA certification required. If not certified, free training and certification programs are available.
Excellent communication skills to interact regularly with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
