What You’ll Do
As an
Assistant Manager , you’ll oversee the
day‑to‑day operations of assigned grain elevator locations , ensuring safety, efficiency, and top‑tier customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support teams across multiple grain facilities
Ensure
safe, efficient grain handling, drying, storage, and shipping operations
Manage grain quality through
inspection, aeration, and inventory control
Coordinate inbound/outbound logistics (truck & rail) for maximum efficiency
Optimize facility performance through
maintenance, repairs, and process improvements
Train, mentor, and develop team members while fostering a strong culture
Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and partners
Support the Regional Operations Manager with
strategic improvements and planning
What You Bring
3+ years of
grain handling or agricultural operations experience
Proven ability to
lead teams and solve operational challenges
Strong organizational and decision‑making skills
Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Willingness to work
extended hours, weekends, and peak seasons
