Location: Faribault, MN Monday-Thursday 2nd shift 4:30pm-3:30am
Your Responsibilities:
Monitors shipping and receiving activities to eliminate delays and ensure adherence to shipment schedules and customer delivery commitments
Assists in carrying out departmental objectives at the lowest cost, consistent with the organization's quality and service requirements
Ensures safety, accuracy, and quality in shipping and receiving processes while identifying opportunities for process improvement
Coordinates workflow with production, warehouse, logistics, and customer service teams
Reports damaged or defective equipment, materials, and inventory issues to management
Trains employees on daily shipping, receiving, and material handling procedures
Maintains quality and quantity standards regarding inbound and outbound shipments
Analyzes shipping and receiving schedules to estimate labor needs and allocate resources effectively
Interprets work orders, shipping documents, and customer requirements, and assigns duties accordingly
Plans the flow of materials and finished goods through the department according to production and shipping requirements
Interfaces with internal teams and carriers to ensure customer deadlines are met
Inspects incoming and outgoing materials to verify accuracy and conformance to specifications and documentation
Directs employees in correcting shipping, labeling, packaging, or documentation issues
Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet shipping and receiving schedules
Develops, recommends, and implements measures to improve shipping methods, equipment performance, and accuracy
Suggests changes in working conditions and equipment use to increase department efficiency
Analyzes and resolves workflow and inventory issues, or assists employees in problem-solving
Maintains time, labor, and shipping/receiving records
Assists with justification and implementation of material handling equipment and process technology to improve quality, cost, and cycle times
Other duties as assigned
Your Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent
5+ years of related experience in manufacturing
Bachelor's Degree in related field (preferred)
3+ years of direct supervisory experience (preferred)

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $66,000 to $108,800 in MN. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
