Position Description
Our people division is growing, and we are looking for an Underground Mobile Maintenance Superintendent at our Leeville underground operations.
Responsibilities
Implementation of Leeville Underground’s equipment asset maintenance strategy to ensure sound maintenance practices.
Establish and implement plans, policies, and procedures which extend the useful life of existing equipment.
Optimize preventive existing maintenance plans and programs thereby reducing downtime related to equipment.
Ensure all equipment performance targets and work management KPI's (Key Performance Indicators) are achieved within the constraints of the maintenance budget.
Effectively promote, deploy, and comply with all Safety & Health and Environmental policies, standards, procedures, and regulations across the Mobile Maintenance department.
Develop annual budgets, prepare and submit capital budget, participate in incident investigations, ensuring corrective actions are effectively implemented and tracked.
Qualifications
BSc degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Mine Engineering or equivalent trade qualifications preferred
Ten (10) years direct experience to maintenance and reliability of mining equipment preferred
Budgeting and cost management experience required
Excellent safety and environmental track record required
Mobile, fixed and electrical background preferred
Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project and MS Outlook required
Familiarity with computerized maintenance systems such as Oracle and eAM preferred
Proficiency in conducting failure analysis and root cause investigation techniques preferred
Demonstrated ability to lead, influence and work effectively in a team required
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing required
