Compensation
Compensation: $23-$25/hr plus weekly production bonus and yearly profit‑sharing bonus.
Purpose
Perform and document quality control procedures and ensure compliance with the Quality Manual.
Basic Job Functions
Must adhere to Nucor’s safety programs and standards.
Demonstrate conduct consistent with Nucor’s vision and values.
Perform and document all tests required (per the Quality Manual) during a production shift.
Participate in non‑conformance root cause analysis.
Report and document any non‑conformance to the Quality Manual requirements.
Report and document any non‑conformance to tests performed.
Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Requirements
Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
High school diploma, GED or state/local equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
Basic math and writing skills.
Problem‑solving skills.
Knowledge of CRSI quality standards.
Proficiency in MS Office, including strong Excel and Word.
Physical Demands
Some heavy lifting may be necessary.
Working conditions can be noisy, dusty, hot, cold.
Special Demands
Must be able to work overtime when required.
Some travel may be required.
