
Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift

Reporting to the Production Manager at our Council Bluffs, IA facility, local producers of Marie Callendar, Healthy Choice, Banquet products and more, you will lead and inspire a 2nd shift production team to elevate performance, strengthen processes, and create a strong culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. You will guide team members through daily operations, champion safe practices, and ensure that quality and productivity expectations are not only met but exceeded.
A Taste Of Your Responsibilities
Monitor production performance to ensure quality, productivity, and cost targets are achieved.
Evaluate team performance and foster growth by sharing clear, constructive feedback and coaching.
Provide hands‑on training that helps team members grow their skills and meet job expectations.
Enforce plant policies, procedures, and regulations with fairness and consistency.
Identify bottlenecks or issues in production processes and partner cross‑functionally to resolve them.
Ensure all required resources — materials, equipment, staffing — are in place to meet production schedules.
Promote and reinforce a strong safety culture by supporting facility and company safety programs.
Ingredients Required For Your Success
Bachelors degree plus 3 or more years of experience in a food manufacturing operations environment
5 or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment in lieu of educational requirements
3 or more years of supervisory experience
Experience in a maintenance/mechanical environment
Understanding of manufacturing processes and production loss
Willingness to work weekends and shift schedules
Relocation assistance is available for this position. Preference will be given to local candidates.
Compensation
Pay Range: $63,000-$93,000
The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
