Job Overview
Fabhar Corporation is seeking an experienced Metal Shop Foreman to lead daily operations within our metal fabrication shop. This role is responsible for supervising metal fabrication personnel, coordinating production schedules, ensuring work meets engineering and quality standards, and maintaining a safe and efficient shop environment. The ideal candidate has strong hands‑on fabrication experience combined with proven leadership in a manufacturing or heavy industrial setting.
Responsibilities
Manage daily operations of the steel fabrication shop, including metal cutting, welding, assembly, and finishing. Monitor workflow, materials, and inventory to maintain efficient shop operations.
Ensure all necessary work orders, blueprints, and job packets are properly distributed, understood, and completed accurately and on time. Ensure fabrication work complies with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Monitor in‑process and finished product quality, working closely with the QA/QC team to maintain compliance with internal and external standards.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in structural steel or custom metal fabrication, with 3+ years in a supervisory or foreman role.
Must pass a drug test; we provide a drug‑free work environment.
Compensation
From $24.00 to $34.00 per hour based on skills and qualifications.
