Public Service Intern - Reno Police Department (Part-time Temporary) - THIS POSITION IS LIMITED TO A MAXIMUM 17.5 HOURS PER WEEK NOT TO EXCEED 233 HOURS PER QUARTER (temporary position without benefits). Under general direction, duplicate, extract, upload written and/or digital files, i.e. CD's, DVD's, microfilm, reports, and videos into records management software. Perform other general clerical duties as assigned.
Examples of Essential Functions
The ideal candidate must have excellent computer skills and attention to detail.
Minimum Qualifications
The qualified candidate must have the equivalent to a high school diploma; be at least 18 years of age; and have proficiency in Microsoft Word applications.
Supplemental Information
This is a highly confidential position and a background investigation will be required. The position allows for no more than 17.5 hours per week with no minimum hour guarantee and is exempt from the Civil Service System as a temporary assignment. The pay starts at $15.00 per hour.
