A day in the Life of our QA Engineer
As a QA Engineer, you will ensure the quality of our complex cloud applications within the Altium 365 – Requirements Portal R&D team. You’ll collaborate closely with developers to design, implement, and execute tests that maintain high reliability, performance, and an excellent user experience.
Create clear, comprehensive test documentation to ensure full feature coverage.
Rigorously test new features to detect and prevent defects before release.
Perform thorough regression testing to maintain product stability and consistency across releases.
Qualifications
What We're looking for
4+ years of experience as a QA Engineer testing complex web-based systems
Experience creating comprehensive test plans and using test management tools (e.g., TestRail)
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices
Hands‑on experience with API-level testing
Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to understand the broader system impact
Experience working within mature and complex SDLC processes
Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter)
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Familiarity with CI/CD systems (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, TeamCity)
