Position Summary
As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in a school setting, you will provide direct behavior intervention services to students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities. Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or other qualified professional, you will implement behavior support plans, collect data on student behavior, and support the educational goals of students with behavioral challenges.
Responsibilities include:
Providing behavior support to students
Delivering direct instruction using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
Data collection and progress monitoring
Skill acquisition support
Implementing behavior plans and positive support plansCollaboration with all team members
Documentation
Qualifications
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
( Required )
A high school diploma or equivalent, as well as a bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or a related field, is preferred
Experience working with children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities in a school or clinical setting
