Minimum Qualifications: No prior experience required. However, some experience (paid or unpaid) related to the area assigned is highly desirable. Two (2) years of college course work at an accredited college or university and current enrollment as a college student, OR graduation from a four (4) year accredited college or university with major course work in Public or Business Administration, or an area related to the Intern position to be assigned.

Experience, Training & Licenses
The Human Resources & Risk Management division of the City of Eastvale is pivotal in creating a productive and safe work environment while protecting community interests. We handle recruitment, training, payroll, benefits, classification and compensation and organizational development. Additionally, we oversee risk management, ensuring safety through protocols and managing insurance programs to safeguard city resources and personnel.
Special Requirements
To be considered for the position, all candidates must submit a completed City application, cover letter, resume, and a list of professional references here. Applicants will be evaluated on the basis of relevant training, education, experience and writing skills as presented in the application, resume, cover letter and supplemental questions. The process may include interviews and/or performance tests. A background investigation including, LIVESCAN fingerprinting and verification of previous employment. Applicants will be required to submit verification of the legal right to work in the United States. Upon receipt of a conditional offer of employment letter, applicants are required to complete a drug and/or alcohol test at the time of their pre-employment physical. All employees are required by law to sign a loyalty oath to the United States and the State of California Constitution at time of hire.
