About the Company
We are partnering with a global manufacturing organization to hire a Global Product Manager to lead strategy and execution across a core hardware product portfolio. This role owns the full product lifecycle—from long-term vision and roadmap development to commercialization and financial performance—serving customers across retail, hospitality, and adjacent markets worldwide. Responsibilities
Global Product Strategy & Leadership
Own global product strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle for core hardware product lines
Drive long-term vision, investment planning, and portfolio growth initiatives
Develop business cases, including ROI, margin analysis, and financial modeling
Define product positioning, value propositions, and global requirements
Product Development & Lifecycle Management
Lead cross-functional teams through product development and stage-gate processes
Translate market needs into scalable engineering requirements
Manage product performance metrics including cost, quality, and lead time
Drive cost optimization initiatives and lifecycle planning (including end-of-life strategy)
Market Intelligence & Innovation
Conduct global market research and competitive benchmarking
Identify emerging trends and new market opportunities
Recommend product enhancements, extensions, and new product concepts
Identify white space opportunities and support strategic expansion initiatives
Go-to-Market & Commercial Execution
Partner with marketing on product launches, messaging, and collateral
Support global sales teams with training, tools, and customer engagement
Participate in trade shows and industry events (domestic and international)
Contribute to RFP/RFQ/RFI responses from a product and technical standpoint
Cross-Functional Leadership
Align stakeholders across engineering, operations, supply chain, and sales
Partner with operations to support global manufacturing strategy and optimization
Build relationships with key customers and strategic accounts
Drive portfolio simplification and standardization initiatives
Financial Ownership
Develop and execute global pricing strategies
Own revenue, cost, and profitability targets
Support annual planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
7+ years of product management experience
Experience in hardware, manufacturing, or physical product environments
Strong business and financial acumen (pricing, margins, ROI)
Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives in a global environment
